About this Blog

This blog has three general purposes:

1. A place to express my thoughts openly to anyone who cares to listen/read. I find that we generally do not share our deeper thoughts and philosophies on life in open conversations. This is a place where I can share in a concrete and definitive way certain observations and opinions I have developed of a wide range of topic. These may be directed to Chileans, Japanese, everyone or no one at all.
   
2. Reports of the Chilean/South American climbing scene from a more local perspective. I find that there are few permanent residence foreign climbers here in Chile (from what I’ve seen) and information in English is scarce or incomplete.
   
3. Create a new kind of tourism avenue for foreigners (in particular Japanese) though which I hope to offer unique and genuine experiences not offered by the typical package tours.
